Hands Across Romania
Founded in 2005, Hands Across Romania Association is an apolitical, non-profit and non-discriminatory organization, established with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of communities, being active also in the field of human trafficking prevention in Romania. The projects carried out by Hands Across Romania focus on social, cultural and educational services, such as the promotion of dual vocational education, support and promotion of breastfeeding, the creation of the Family Club centre for the community of Chiajna, where workshops, courses and events are hosted with specialists from various fields. Hands Across Romania offers Ukrainian refugees in Bucharest services in the area of professional integration, by organizing vocational counselling sessions, discussions about the educational path, retraining courses and support from the consultation phase to employment.
