The Association "Rădăuțiul Civic" was founded in 2017 as a natural continuation of the initiative group "Rădăuțiul civic", initiated in 2017 as a response to the need for civil involvement in the responsible development of the community by stimulating active citizenship and local initiatives. Rădăuțiul Civic is involved in various projects, from social programs to civic education and identifying problems and offering solutions for better local governance. The Association "Rădăuțiul Civic" has been present since February 2022, without interruption, at Siret Customs, to provide for the immediate needs for refugees entering Romania as well as in the organization of humanitarian convoys with aid sent to the population of war-affected cities in Ukraine (over 930 tons of aid sent to Ukraine). In the camp in Rădăuți, they took care of the remaining refugees by organizing workshops and activities designed to facilitate their social integration process.

Profilaxis Medical Aid Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in Timisoara in 1997 with the mission to increase the quality of life of children, adults and the elderly by developing medical, social and educational services. During almost 20 years of activity Profilaxis Medical Aid Foundation has initiated and implemented several projects, both at local and national level, in partnership with other organizations and public institutions. Profilaxis Foundation has focused on telemedicine program and remote medical services, providing specialist consultations (cardiology, dermatology, internal diseases) to Ukrainian refugees, collaborating with other organizations and foundations in several cities of the country.
Society for Children and Parents

Society for Children and Parents

The Society for Children and Parents Timisoara is a non-governmental organization founded in 1996, with the mission of increasing the quality of life of children, women and families, as well as preventing human trafficking, child abuse or abandonment and stopping domestic violence. Pre-school education for children from disadvantaged families, protection and increasing resilience of young people from vulnerable groups, promotion of children's rights, school education for vulnerable children in the face of school drop-out, prevention and intervention for vulnerable women, training courses for specialists are the main programmes and services run by SCOP. SCOP's mission: to improve the quality of life of children, women and families, with the aim of preventing child abuse of any kind, in a society based on tolerance and respect. SCOP is a founding member of the Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations for Children - FONPC SCOP Timisoara has set up a multifunctional centre focused on integrated support services for Ukrainian refugees: psychological and vocational counselling, legal assistance. The centre also functions as an afterschool for children, being a safe space for socialization where various recreational and educational activities are carried out. They also have a mobile team helping refugees in transit.
ASSOC Association

ASSOC Association

The ASSOC Baia Mare Association was founded in 1995 to promote social services with the aim of improving the living conditions of disadvantaged groups. Dedicated to supporting disabled people, elderly people, migrants, young people leaving the child protection system and other disadvantaged groups in need of integration and support, ASSOC has carried out humanitarian and charitable activities and set up social centres, such as the Day Centre for Adults with Disabilities, the Social Canteen, the Care and Assistance Centre for Adults with Disabilities "Pinochio", the Home Care Service for the Elderly, the ASSOC Social Restaurant & Catering, as well as programmes such as the ASSOC Sentinel. ASSOC Baia Mare supports Ukrainian refugees in two ways: a call centre that provides various information about transport, food, services and a mobile team that provides immediate support in emergencies. In addition, they have two centres (Baia Mare and Sighetul Marmației) where they provide psychological support, vocational counselling and educational and recreational services for Ukrainian children.
Esperando Association

Esperando Association

Esperando Association was founded in 2001 in Baia Mare and aims at the recovery and social integration of children and young people with neuro-psycho-motor disabilities. With more than 21 years of experience, Esperando meets the needs of any person in need of rehabilitation or body maintenance services through a wide range of therapies carried out at the Esperando Recovery Centre, according to individual needs. The association has become one of the best known organizations working in the field of social and services for people with disabilities in Maramureș, but also in Romania and is a member of all significant federations, coalitions and umbrella organizations in Romania in the field of disability or child protection: RENINCO, Inclusion Romania, FONPC, NGOplatforMM. Esperando Association offers psychological support services (cognitive-behavioral therapy, group therapy, art therapy), and physical rehabilitation programs for people in need (physiotherapy, physiotherapy, message, etc.) to Ukrainian refugees, as well as a series of recreational and educational activities, both in nature and in the center of the Association.
Autism Baia Mare

Autism Baia Mare

Founded in 2008 by parents of children with autism, the Baia Mare AUTISM Association focuses on improving the living conditions and social adaptability of children with developmental disorders, in order to improve the quality of life of these children and their families. Since 2010, it has set up the Day Centre for children with disabilities, where it provides personalized therapy services and follows the evolution of more than 80 children with developmental disorders from Maramureș, Satu Mare and Sălaj counties. Autism Baia Mare runs programmes and activities that help to better integrate refugee children and provide them with specialized psychosocial support: rehabilitation therapy for children with autism/developmental disorders, excursions and leisure activities, sports activities, socialization workshops, parenting workshops and support groups for parents, etc.
