AMURTEL Romania Aid Association

Founded in 1995, AMURTEL Aid Association works in the field of inclusive education for children with special needs, social services for abandoned children and disadvantaged youth at risk of social exclusion, focusing on programs that protect, strengthen, educate, uplift and inspire the vulnerable. The Association's main projects are the AMURTEL Family Residential Centre, the Fountain of Hope Day Centre and the Vistara social integration programme. AMURTEL is also involved in supporting international humanitarian interventions through the network of AMURT and AMURTEL projects around the world. Amurtel provides emergency psychological assistance at the border and in transit camps, offers support to families with children to activate the resources needed for resettlement and also organises training sessions for those who come into direct contact with refugees.
